What:	Please remember to bring a bottle of water, sunglasses, cap, comfortable shorts and rashie or t-shirt.

Safety In and Around the Boat:
Safety in the boat should be controlled by the sweep – the sweep is to make any decisions on any issues of safety in or around the boat including the balance in the boat or the path in which the boat is travelling.

Paddlers if you feel the boat is not balanced or you feel ‘unsafe’ for what ever reason while in the boat - you are to get the attention of the sweep in an orderly manner by raising your hand, once the sweep recognises you, please present your issue to them in a concise way with controlled tone. You are to wait for their instruction or advice on this matter…. and like wise, if you have a need to swap seats while on the water, get the attention of the sweep and state your issue.

We have sweeps and paddlers with varying degrees of experience, so it is essential that orderly conduct is maintained AT ALL TIMES in the boat.
